Over time, a new habitat for all will grow between the workplace and home. This neighborhood hub will provide the space needed to cater to day-to-day needs.
Zoned for mixed use, the Green Center is to be a commercial, residential, and recreational hub located centrally at the site. The heart of this development project, its green arteries and avenues branch out to vitalize the neighborhood and connect it with the surrounding nature.
Section 6 of the German Land Use Ordinance says mixed-use zones are for residential housing and businesses that have a negligible impact on residents.
A possible future
Out of the bakery and on to the bike path
The Factory in the Green is to be the seed from which valuable amenities for the entire community will grow. Envisioned are a bakery, a medical center, a daycare center, and an extended network of bike paths.*
*This project is currently in the planning stages, so none of the amenities discussed here can be confirmed just yet. As soon as we have anything definite to share, we will be sure to let the public know.
